When it comes to our critique sessions, you’ll want to check out our submissions guidelines before uploading your work for review. There are limitations on how long excerpts can be, and when they should be uploaded.

Nope! Our HQ is in Atlanta, but we host meetings online as well. Writers from around the world are welcome.

You’ll get a welcome email and immediate access to our online community. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, then check the SPAM folder. From there, you can RSVP for events, join the current community discussions about writing, or post questions.

If you’re ever in Atlanta, definitely sign up for The Writing Studio. It’s a great opportunity to network and talk shop with other writers.

Atlanta Writes is a free community. Our critique sessions are free to attend, and so is our Writing Studio monthly event.

From time to time we put on paid skill-building workshops led by industry experts, or offer online master classes for purchase. There is ZERO obligation to participate in workshop or purchase courses.
