MY PRESENCE AT AN IN-PERSON OR ONLINE MEETING IS CONFIRMATION THAT I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DEMANDS OF WHATEVER KIND OR NATURE AGAINST THE HOSTS OF THE ATLANTA WRITES LLC GROUP EVENTS AND ITS AFFILIATED PARTNERS AND SPONSORS, INCLUDING IN EACH CASE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”), EITHER IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES OR LOSSES CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE, FAULT OR CONDUCT OF ANY KIND ON THE PART OF THE RELEASED PARTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DEATH, BODILY INJURY, ILLNESS, ECONOMIC LOSS OR OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, WHICH I, MY HEIRS, ASSIGNEES, NEXT OF KIN AND/OR LEGALLY APPOINTED OR DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVES, MAY HAVE OR WHICH MAY HEREINAFTER ACCRUE ON MY BEHALF, WHICH ARISE OR MAY HEREAFTER ARISE FROM MY PARTICIPATION WITH THE ACTIVITY.
Media Release and Hold Harmless Agreement
By attending events hosted by Atlanta Writes, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Photography, video, and audio recordings may occur during this event.
These images and recordings may be used in Atlanta Writes’ promotional and commercial content, including but not limited to social media, websites, email newsletters, advertisements, and printed materials.
By entering the event premises, you grant Atlanta Writes and its representatives the right to use, reproduce, and publish any photographs, video, or audio in which you may appear without compensation. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, and you release and hold harmless Atlanta Writes from any claims, demands, and liabilities in connection with the use of such media.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify the photographers and videographers at the event that you do not wish to be included in the shots they are taking. Allow them to do their work by moving out of view when possible.
